Install and sign in to WorldLine
Use the latest Windows installer, finish first-run setup, and complete Patreon access checks from one setup page.
This page combines the real installation flow, runtime checks, and Patreon sign-in steps in one place.
- CheckSupported environment
WorldLine is documented for Windows 10 / 11 64-bit environments.
- CheckInstaller type
Use the latest public x64 installer from the download page.
- CheckPermission prompts
You may need to allow Windows administrator or UAC prompts during installation.
- CheckBrowser access
First-time sign-in requires your default browser and an active internet connection.
- CheckBase membership check
A free Patreon membership is enough to verify access to the core WorldLine flow.
- Check.NET runtime
If the app does not start at all or Windows asks for a runtime, verify that .NET 10 Desktop Runtime is available.
- CheckWebView2 runtime
If the window opens but the internal UI is blank or initialization fails, verify WebView2 Runtime.
If the app will not launch or the embedded UI looks broken, verify these two runtimes first.
- Open official .NET download
.NET 10 Desktop Runtime
Check this official runtime first when the application itself will not start.
- Open official WebView2 download
Microsoft Edge WebView2 Runtime
Check this runtime when the app window opens but the sign-in view or embedded UI is broken.
- 1
Download the latest installer from the public download page
Get the latest WorldLine installer from the public download page.
- 2
Run the installer
Open the downloaded installer file and follow the setup wizard.
- 3
Allow Windows prompts
Approve security prompts, UAC, or administrator confirmations so setup can continue.
- 4
Launch the app for the first time
After setup finishes, launch WorldLine and confirm that the first-run screen appears correctly.
- 5
If the app does not start, check the .NET runtime
If the executable will not open or Windows asks for required components, install .NET 10 Desktop Runtime and try again.
- 6
If the window opens but the embedded UI fails, check WebView2
If the screen is blank, sign-in does not render, or a WebView2 error appears, install WebView2 Runtime and relaunch the app.
- 1
Start Patreon sign-in from the app
Press the sign-in button in the app and your default browser will open the Patreon authorization flow.
- 2
Use the same browser session that is already signed in
Using the browser session where your Patreon account is already signed in reduces callback and session errors.
- 3
Finish the authorization within five minutes when possible
The request does not stay valid for long, so complete the sign-in and confirmation flow within about five minutes.
- 4
Confirm the callback page, then return to the app
Once the browser shows the completion page, return to WorldLine and wait for the access state to update.
- 5
If waiting takes too long, refresh status or relaunch the app
If the app keeps waiting for verification, refresh the status or relaunch the app and retry the session check.
- A free Patreon membership is enough for the base WorldLine experience.
- If the browser does not open, verify your default browser settings and popup restrictions first.
- If a request expired or sat open too long, start a new sign-in flow and finish it within five minutes.
- If the browser finishes but the app still waits, signing out and signing in again often resets the session cleanly.
The app does not start, or Windows asks to install .NET
Microsoft.WindowsDesktop.App 10.0.0Microsoft.NETCore.App 10.0.0- Install the official .NET 10 Desktop Runtime x64 first, then launch WorldLine again.
- If it is already installed, restart Windows once and retry.
- If you used an older installer or a test build, reinstall from the latest public download page.
You see WebView2 Runtime Required or WebView2 initialization failed
WebView2 Runtime RequiredWebView2 initialization failed- Install the official WebView2 Runtime and relaunch WorldLine.
- Apply the same check if the app window opens but the internal UI is blank or buttons do not react.
- If the runtime is already present, reboot once and verify that Windows registered it correctly.
You click Patreon sign-in, but no browser opens
OPEN_BROWSER_FAILED- Confirm that Windows has a working default browser configured.
- Close the app completely, open it again, and retry the sign-in button.
- Check whether popup blocking, security policy, or remote-environment restrictions are blocking browser launch.
The authorization page expired or a failure page appears
REQUEST_EXPIREDAUTH_CODE_MISSINGOAUTH_ERROR:*- Start Patreon sign-in again from the app so you get a fresh request.
- Try to finish the authorization within five minutes, and restart from the beginning if you waited too long.
- Retry in the same browser session where Patreon is already signed in.
The app stays in a waiting-for-verification state for too long
AUTH_TIMEOUTAUTH_POLL_FAILED- First confirm that the browser really showed the completion page.
- Return to the app, refresh the status, or relaunch the app and retry the session check.
- If your network is unstable, wait a moment and start a fresh sign-in request.
You signed in, but the app falls back to a locked state again
SESSION_EXPIREDSESSION_NOT_FOUNDTOKEN_NOT_FOUNDPATRON_API_UNAVAILABLE:*- Try the in-app status refresh first.
- If it keeps repeating, sign out and run Patreon sign-in again to get a fresh session.
- If Patreon or the network is responding inconsistently, wait a little and retry later.
The app says a membership is required
MEMBERSHIP_REQUIRED- The base WorldLine flow is available with a free Patreon membership.
- If you do not have a Patreon membership yet, join first or confirm that your existing account still has access.
- Use the Patreon section on the download page to review membership differences and the join flow.
- A free Patreon membership is enough to confirm access to the base feature set.
- Fellowship is for additional supporter benefits and is not required just to install or launch the app.
- If you see MEMBERSHIP_REQUIRED, verify your membership state and restart the sign-in flow from the app.
