Tinesoft Privacy Policy
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Tinesoft collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal data in connection with the Tinesoft website, WorldLine, download guidance, documentation, support communications, Google Analytics, Patreon links, GitHub release links, and related services.
Tinesoft operates a lightweight global website. The Website does not currently provide its own account registration, its own website login system, or direct payment processing.
A Patreon button or membership link redirects the User to Patreon or another external membership platform. A GitHub release link redirects the User to GitHub or another external distribution page.
2. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to:
- Access to
https://www.tinesoft.net/. - Use of Tinesoft web pages, notices, documentation, and download guidance.
- Email inquiries sent to Tinesoft.
- WorldLine-related support, bug reports, or feedback.
- Google Analytics and similar website measurement activities.
- Server-side download button click counting.
- Any membership verification or supporter feature that Tinesoft may provide in connection with Patreon or another external platform.
- Technical logs generated when the Website or related services are accessed.
This Privacy Policy does not control the privacy practices of GitHub, Patreon, Discord, X, Linktree, Google, hosting providers, payment processors, or other External Services when the User uses those services directly.
3. Personal Data We Collect
Tinesoft collects only the personal data reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
3.1 Website Access and Technical Logs
When the User visits the Website, technical data may be automatically processed by the Website, hosting infrastructure, CDN, security tools, or server logs.
This may include:
- IP address.
- Date and time of access.
- Requested URL or page.
- Browser type and version.
- Operating system.
- Device information.
- Referrer URL.
- User-Agent string.
- Error logs.
- Security event logs.
Tinesoft uses this information to operate the Website, detect abuse, troubleshoot errors, maintain security, and understand basic service performance.
3.2 Google Analytics
Tinesoft uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Website and to improve the Website, documentation, download flow, and user experience.
Google Analytics may collect or process information such as:
- Page views.
- Session information.
- Approximate geographic information.
- Browser and device information.
- Operating system information.
- Referrer information.
- Website interaction events.
- Download button interaction events, if configured.
- Cookies or similar online identifiers.
- General traffic and engagement metrics.
Tinesoft does not intentionally send names, email addresses, payment details, Patreon passwords, private tokens, or other directly identifying information to Google Analytics.
Google may receive information from the User's browser when the Website uses Google services, including the URL of the page visited and technical request information. Google explains how it uses information from sites and apps that use Google services in its own privacy materials.
Tinesoft uses Google Analytics for measurement and website improvement. Tinesoft does not intend to use Google Analytics to identify individual visitors.
Unless separately disclosed, Tinesoft does not use Google Analytics Advertising Features, Google Signals, remarketing, or cross-context behavioral advertising.
3.3 Server-Side Download Button Counter
Tinesoft operates a server-side counter to count how many times a download button is clicked.
This counter is intended to store only aggregate click counts and, where necessary, the relevant button or release-link identifier.
The download button counter is not intended to store:
- User names.
- Email addresses.
- Patreon account information.
- Payment information.
- User-level download history.
- IP addresses for download-counting purposes.
- Browser fingerprints.
- Device identifiers.
- Full GitHub download activity.
The server-side counter is used for basic product measurement, release planning, abuse awareness, and understanding demand for WorldLine downloads.
This counter is separate from ordinary website access logs or hosting-provider logs, which may process technical data for security, reliability, and troubleshooting.
3.4 Email Inquiries and Support Communications
If the User contacts Tinesoft by email, Tinesoft may process:
- Email address.
- Name or nickname, if provided.
- Message content.
- Attachments provided by the User.
- Technical details voluntarily included by the User.
- Reply history and support records.
The User should avoid sending unnecessary personal data, sensitive data, passwords, private tokens, payment details, or unrelated files.
3.5 Bug Reports, Logs, and Feedback
If the User submits a bug report, crash information, feedback, or diagnostic information, Tinesoft may process:
- Email address or contact identifier, if provided.
- WorldLine version.
- Operating system information.
- Error descriptions.
- App settings or configuration details included in the report.
- Log files submitted by the User.
- File paths or local environment details if included in logs or screenshots.
- Any other information the User chooses to include.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Tinesoft does not intentionally collect full game save file contents, private files, or unrelated local files through ordinary Website use.
3.6 WorldLine Local Data
WorldLine may interact with local files, local settings, save file paths, backup folders, or related local data to provide its features.
By default, local file-management activity should be understood as local software activity, not automatic transmission of all local save data to Tinesoft.
If a future version of WorldLine introduces telemetry, cloud backup, remote diagnostics, automatic crash reporting, or remote synchronization, Tinesoft will update this Privacy Policy or provide an additional notice before or at the time of collection.
3.7 Patreon and Membership Information
The Website may link to Patreon or another external membership service. Tinesoft does not directly collect Patreon passwords, full payment card numbers, or full payment credentials through the Website.
If Tinesoft or WorldLine provides Patreon membership verification, Tinesoft may process limited membership-related information, such as:
- Patreon account ID or external platform user ID.
- Display name or username.
- Email address, if provided by the external platform.
- Membership tier.
- Membership status.
- Membership verification timestamp.

- Authentication token or API authorization metadata, where required for verification.
Tinesoft uses this information only to verify membership status, provide membership-related features, prevent abuse, and manage access to supporter features.
3.8 Payment Information
Tinesoft does not directly process payment card information through the Website.
Payments, subscriptions, refunds, billing disputes, taxes, invoices, and payment method management related to Patreon memberships are generally handled by Patreon or the applicable external platform.
Tinesoft may receive limited membership-status information from the external platform if such integration is enabled, but Tinesoft does not receive full payment card details.

5. Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable data protection laws require a legal basis, Tinesoft processes personal data under one or more of the following bases:
- Contract necessity: to provide requested services, software access, membership-related features, support, or communications.
- Legitimate interests: to maintain security, prevent abuse, improve the Website and WorldLine, troubleshoot errors, count aggregate download button clicks, analyze general website usage, respond to inquiries, and protect Tinesoft's rights.
- Consent: where the User voluntarily submits information, opts into a feature, authorizes external account verification, or consents to optional cookies or analytics where required.
- Legal obligation: where Tinesoft must retain, disclose, or process information to comply with applicable law.
- Protection of rights and safety: where processing is necessary to protect Users, Tinesoft, External Services, or third parties.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Tinesoft may use cookies or similar technologies for:
- Basic website operation.
- Security and abuse prevention.
- Load balancing or traffic routing.
- Error detection.
- Google Analytics measurement.
- Understanding page usage and download-button interactions.
- User preference storage, if applicable.
Google Analytics may use cookies or similar identifiers to measure website activity and distinguish sessions or users for analytics purposes.
Users can control cookies through their browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain website functions or prevent analytics measurement.
Where required by applicable law, Tinesoft may request the User's consent before using non-essential analytics cookies.
Tinesoft does not intentionally use cookies for behavioral advertising, remarketing, or sale of personal data unless expressly disclosed in an updated Privacy Policy or separate notice.

Users may limit or prevent Google Analytics measurement by:
- Adjusting browser cookie settings.
- Using private browsing or incognito modes, subject to their limitations.
- Installing Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on, where available.
- Declining analytics cookies where a consent option is provided.

Some Google Analytics processing is controlled by Google under Google's own privacy terms and user controls.
8. Data Retention
Tinesoft retains personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by applicable law.
General retention periods:
- Website technical logs: normally up to 90 days, unless longer retention is necessary for security, abuse investigation, troubleshooting, or legal reasons.
- Google Analytics user-level and event-level data: up to
[2 months / 14 months], depending on the Google Analytics data retention setting configured by Tinesoft. - Google Analytics aggregated reports: may remain available according to Google Analytics settings, reporting structure, and Google's applicable policies.
- Server-side download button click counts: aggregate click counts may be retained for as long as useful for product measurement, release planning, and historical statistics, because they are not intended to identify individual users.
- Email inquiries and support records: normally up to 3 years after the last interaction, unless earlier deletion is appropriate or longer retention is required for dispute resolution or legal reasons.
- Bug reports and diagnostic materials: normally up to 24 months after submission, unless needed for ongoing development, security, or dispute resolution.
- Membership verification records: for the duration of the membership relationship or integration, plus a reasonable period for fraud prevention, access management, dispute resolution, and audit purposes.
- Legal or enforcement records: as long as necessary to protect rights, comply with applicable law, or resolve disputes.
When personal data is no longer needed, Tinesoft deletes, anonymizes, or restricts it where reasonably possible.
9. How We Share Personal Data
Tinesoft does not sell personal data.
Tinesoft may share or make personal data available in limited circumstances:

- Legal compliance: courts, regulators, law enforcement, or other parties where required by applicable law or valid legal process.
- Protection of rights: where necessary to prevent fraud, abuse, security threats, illegal activity, or violation of Tinesoft's rights.
- Business transfer: if Tinesoft is involved in a merger, acquisition, restructuring, asset transfer, or similar transaction, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to appropriate safeguards.
- With User consent: where the User authorizes disclosure.
External Services process personal data under their own policies when the User interacts with them directly.
10. External Services
The Website may link to External Services such as GitHub, Patreon, Discord, X, Linktree, Google, or other platforms.
When the User clicks an external link or uses an external platform, the User's information may be processed by that external platform. Tinesoft does not control the privacy practices, security measures, cookies, payment systems, or account systems of External Services.
The User should review the privacy policy and terms of each External Service before using it.
11. International Data Transfers
Tinesoft operates a global online service. Personal data may be processed in countries other than the User's country of residence, depending on hosting, email, security, infrastructure, analytics, membership, or external platform providers.
Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, Tinesoft will use reasonable measures such as contractual protections, appropriate service provider terms, data minimization, access controls, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
By using the Website, Service, or WorldLine, the User understands that online services and external platforms may involve cross-border data processing.

Where applicable, Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or similar jurisdictions may have rights to access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, consent withdrawal, and complaint to a relevant supervisory authority.

Requests may be sent to:

18. Automated Decision-Making
Tinesoft does not currently make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing.
If Tinesoft introduces automated decision-making that materially affects Users, Tinesoft will update this Privacy Policy or provide an additional notice where required.
19. Data Deletion and Account Linking
Because the Website does not currently provide a direct Tinesoft account system, most privacy requests will relate to email communications, support records, technical logs, Google Analytics data where reasonably identifiable, or membership verification records.
If Patreon or another external platform integration is used, the User may also need to manage authorization, account linking, membership status, cancellation, or deletion through that external platform.
For deletion or access requests related to Tinesoft-controlled data, contact:
20. Changes to This Privacy Policy
Tinesoft may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When changes are made, Tinesoft will update the effective date. If changes are material, Tinesoft will make reasonable efforts to provide notice through the Website or another appropriate method.
Continued use of the Website, Service, or WorldLine after the updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means the User acknowledges the updated Privacy Policy.
