Tinesoft Terms of Service

Effective Date: 2026-04-22

Operator: Tinesoft

Contact: tinesoft.service@hotmail.com

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the Tinesoft website, available at https://www.tinesoft.net/, and related content, software information, download links, documentation, notices, community links, membership links, and any related services provided by Tinesoft.

For these Terms:

  1. "Tinesoft": means the operator of the website and related services.
  2. "Website": means https://www.tinesoft.net/ and its subpages.
  3. "Service": means the website, software information, documentation, download guidance, GitHub release links, Patreon membership links, external community links, notices, analytics-related measurement, download button counting, and other features provided by Tinesoft.
  4. "WorldLine": means the software program provided or introduced by Tinesoft, including related updates, documentation, builds, release notes, and supporting materials.
  5. "User": means any individual or entity that accesses the Website, uses the Service, downloads WorldLine, installs WorldLine, or interacts with Tinesoft.
  6. "External Services": means third-party websites or platforms not controlled by Tinesoft, including GitHub, Patreon, Discord, X, Linktree, Google, hosting providers, email providers, or similar services.
  7. "Membership": means any supporter, subscription, or membership arrangement provided through Patreon or another external platform.

By accessing the Website, using the Service, downloading WorldLine, installing WorldLine, or using WorldLine, the User agrees to these Terms.

If the User does not agree to these Terms, the User must not use the Website, the Service, or WorldLine.

Additional terms may apply to specific services, including third-party platform terms, open-source licenses, software license notices, Patreon membership terms, GitHub terms, or release-specific notices. If additional terms apply, they apply only to the relevant feature, platform, software component, or content.

Tinesoft may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on the Website with a revised effective date.

If a change is material, Tinesoft will make reasonable efforts to provide notice through the Website or another appropriate channel. Continued use of the Website, Service, or WorldLine after the updated Terms become effective means the User accepts the updated Terms.

Tinesoft may provide the following services:

  1. Information about WorldLine.
  2. Documentation, feature descriptions, usage guides, and release notes.
  3. Links to WorldLine releases hosted on GitHub Releases or other official external distribution pages.
  4. Links to Patreon membership pages.
  5. Links to external community or social platforms.
  6. Notices about updates, features, compatibility, known issues, or service changes.
  7. Limited analytics and measurement tools, including Google Analytics.
  8. Server-side counting of download button clicks.
  9. Any other content or service that Tinesoft decides to provide.

Tinesoft does not guarantee that every feature will remain available permanently. Features may be changed, suspended, removed, or replaced.

The Website does not provide its own Tinesoft account system or direct login function unless expressly stated otherwise.

A Patreon button, Patreon link, or membership button on the Website is not a Tinesoft website login. It redirects the User to Patreon or another external membership platform.

Tinesoft does not directly collect the User's Patreon password, payment card number, or full payment credentials through the Website.

WorldLine may be distributed through GitHub Releases or another external official release page. The Website may provide links to those release pages instead of directly hosting the installation files.

The User should download WorldLine only from official links provided by Tinesoft. Tinesoft is not responsible for modified, repackaged, malicious, outdated, or unofficial copies obtained from third-party sources.

GitHub and other External Services may process User data under their own terms and privacy policies. Tinesoft does not control the availability, security, policies, or operation of GitHub or other External Services.

Tinesoft may use limited analytics and measurement tools, including Google Analytics, to understand website traffic, page usage, user interactions, and general service performance.

Tinesoft may also operate a server-side download button counter. This counter is used to count how many times a download button is clicked. It is intended to store only aggregate click counts and, where necessary, the relevant button or release-link identifier. It is not intended to create a user-level download history, identify individual users, store email addresses, store Patreon account information, or directly process payment information.

Clicking a download button may redirect the User to GitHub Releases or another external official distribution page. The actual file hosting, download availability, request handling, and related technical processing may be performed by GitHub or another External Service under that service's own terms and privacy policy.

More information about analytics, cookies, technical logs, and download-button counting is provided in the Tinesoft Privacy Policy.

Subject to these Terms, Tinesoft grants the User a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to download, install, and use WorldLine for personal or internal use.

This license does not transfer ownership of WorldLine, the Website, related documentation, branding, source code, design, user interface, release materials, or any other intellectual property.

Unless expressly permitted by Tinesoft or by applicable law, the User must not:

  1. Copy, resell, sublicense, rent, lease, or commercially redistribute WorldLine.
  2. Modify, repackage, mirror, or distribute unofficial builds of WorldLine.
  3. Circumvent license, membership, authentication, access-control, or technical protection features.
  4. Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble WorldLine except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
  5. Insert malware, tracking tools, unauthorized code, or harmful components into WorldLine.
  6. Use WorldLine to violate third-party rights, game platform rules, software licenses, or applicable laws.
  7. Use Tinesoft branding, logos, names, screenshots, or assets in a misleading or unauthorized manner.

Open-source components, if any, are governed by their respective open-source licenses. If an open-source license conflicts with these Terms for a specific component, the open-source license controls for that component.

WorldLine may provide features related to local game save files, backup, archiving, restoration, timeline management, organization, or similar file-management functions.

The User is responsible for maintaining independent backups of important save files and local data. Game save files may be affected by game updates, platform updates, cloud synchronization, operating system changes, antivirus software, storage errors, user actions, or other conditions outside Tinesoft's control.

Tinesoft does not guarantee that WorldLine will work with every game, every save format, every platform, every operating system, every cloud-sync system, or every user environment.

The User must comply with the terms, policies, and rules of any applicable game, launcher, storefront, platform, or operating system when using WorldLine.

Tinesoft may provide links to Patreon or another external membership platform.

Membership registration, billing, subscription management, cancellation, refunds, payment disputes, taxes, and payment method handling are generally processed by Patreon or the applicable external platform under that platform's own terms and policies.

Tinesoft may provide certain benefits based on membership status, including early access, additional features, themes, supporter-only features, supporter recognition, or other benefits. Such benefits may change over time.

Tinesoft does not guarantee that a specific membership benefit will remain available indefinitely. If a benefit is materially changed, Tinesoft will make reasonable efforts to provide notice.

If WorldLine includes membership verification, the verification may rely on information provided by Patreon or another external platform. If the User cancels, downgrades, loses access to, or cannot verify a membership, related membership features may become unavailable.

The User must:

  1. Use the Website, Service, and WorldLine lawfully.
  2. Maintain the security of their own devices, accounts, files, and credentials.
  3. Download WorldLine only from official sources.
  4. Keep separate backups of important save files and personal files.
  5. Comply with applicable platform, game, software, and third-party terms.
  6. Avoid actions that disrupt, overload, attack, scrape, exploit, or interfere with the Website, Service, WorldLine, or External Services.
  7. Avoid submitting false, harmful, infringing, abusive, illegal, or misleading content to Tinesoft.

The User must not:

  1. Use WorldLine or the Service for illegal activity.
  2. Attempt to bypass authentication, membership verification, access controls, or technical restrictions.
  3. Distribute cracked, modified, malicious, or unauthorized versions of WorldLine.
  4. Impersonate Tinesoft or falsely claim affiliation with Tinesoft.
  5. Interfere with the operation of the Website, Service, WorldLine, GitHub releases, Patreon membership features, analytics systems, or related infrastructure.
  6. Use bots, automated tools, crawlers, or scripts in a way that harms or burdens the Website or Service.
  7. Upload, send, or distribute malware, exploit code, phishing content, or other harmful materials.
  8. Infringe the rights of Tinesoft, other users, game developers, platform operators, or third parties.
  9. Misuse bug reports, support channels, feedback channels, or community links.

The Website, WorldLine, documentation, logos, names, visual elements, user interface, release materials, text, graphics, and other Tinesoft content are owned by Tinesoft or its licensors.

The User may not use Tinesoft's trademarks, logos, branding, screenshots, or materials in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership, official status, or ownership without permission.

The User may provide bug reports, suggestions, ideas, comments, or other feedback. By providing feedback, the User grants Tinesoft a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable license to use, modify, publish, and incorporate that feedback into the Website, WorldLine, documentation, or related services without compensation. This does not affect the User's privacy rights in personal data.

The Website and Service may link to External Services, including GitHub, Patreon, Discord, X, Linktree, Google, hosting providers, email providers, or other platforms.

External Services are operated by independent third parties. Tinesoft does not control their terms, privacy practices, security, availability, payment systems, content, moderation, or technical operation.

The User is responsible for reviewing and complying with the terms and privacy policies of any External Service used.

Tinesoft may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Website, Service, or WorldLine at any time.

Updates may include bug fixes, compatibility changes, security updates, feature changes, membership-related changes, UI changes, performance improvements, or removal of features.

Tinesoft may restrict access to the Website, Service, or WorldLine if necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, abuse prevention, or operational reasons.

Information provided through the Website, documentation, release notes, community posts, or support responses is for general informational purposes only.

Tinesoft does not provide legal, financial, tax, cybersecurity, data-recovery, or professional technical consulting advice unless expressly agreed in writing.

The Website, Service, and WorldLine are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

Tinesoft does not guarantee that:

  1. The Website, Service, or WorldLine will be uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available.
  2. WorldLine will be compatible with every device, operating system, game, save format, storage location, or cloud-sync setup.
  3. WorldLine will prevent all data loss, save corruption, user error, platform conflict, or sync conflict.
  4. External Services will remain available, secure, or unchanged.
  5. A specific feature, membership benefit, theme, release schedule, or update will remain available indefinitely.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tinesoft is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of save files, loss of progress, loss of profits, business interruption, loss of goodwill, device issues, or damages caused by External Services.

Tinesoft's liability is not limited where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law, including liability for intentional misconduct, fraud, gross negligence, personal injury, or other non-excludable liability.

The User is responsible for backing up important files before using WorldLine or any file-management feature.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be waived under applicable consumer protection laws.

If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable in a specific jurisdiction, that provision will be interpreted or limited only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

Tinesoft may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Website, Service, or WorldLine if the User violates these Terms, abuses the Service, threatens security, infringes rights, or creates legal or operational risk.

The User may stop using the Website, Service, or WorldLine at any time.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, external services, user responsibility, and dispute-related provisions.

Tinesoft handles personal data according to the Tinesoft Privacy Policy.

By using the Website, Service, or WorldLine, the User acknowledges that personal data may be processed as described in the Privacy Policy.

The User should first contact Tinesoft at tinesoft.service@hotmail.com to attempt to resolve any issue informally.

Any dispute will be handled according to applicable law. Mandatory consumer rights and mandatory local protections remain unaffected.
